WORK SURFACES

Work surfaces are critical components in any lab. Inappropriate selection of work surface may not able to meet the functionary as planned. SMEX offers a complete selection of work surfaces to meet your requirements for chemical-resistance, moisture, heat and impact-resistance. Choose from these 3-difference type of materials commonly used in laboratory environment: Epoxy resin, Phenolic Resin and Stainless Steel. The characteristic of these materials should be able to resist of chemical and extreme temperature, smooth with non-porous surface, easy to clean and durable.

STAINLESS STEEL
Description:
Stainless steel is low carbon steel, which contains chromium at around 10%. Chromium gives the steel its unique stainless, corrosion resistant properties. Stainless steel has especially high levels of chromium and nickel-alloyed grades and is able to retain its strength at high temperatures up to 1500 F (816 C).
Application:
Stainless steel work surfaces are recommended for carbon-based chemical labs, biomedical, pharmaceuticals, clean rooms, and specialty settings. Stainless steel is easy to clean and nonabsorbent; there are no pores or cracks to harbor dirt, grime, or bacteria. Attractive and requires minimal care.
Finishing:
Smooth. Available in Brushed & Bright finished
