SMEX Design and Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (SMEX) was incorporated in 07 June 2007.

At the early period of start-up the business, its principal activity then was dealing with customize sheet metal fabrication and sheet metal base product. In mid 2008, SMEX ventured into the manufacturing of laboratory furniture and LEV Equipment such as Fume Hood and Laminar Flow Clean Bench. And it becomes the principally focuses Business at now.

The Company’s products are mainly supplied through local trader to Government Projects such as Secondary School, University, Hospital and Research Center. The products also supplied to private sectors especially industrial like Petrochemical, Palm Oil Mill, Life-science, Pharmaceutical, Testing Lab, Electronic, Food & Beverage and etc.

The business strategy of the Company has always been to focus on providing high quality products at reasonable prices to its customers. It has been able to penetrate into the Laboratory furniture industry, from domestic market to international market such as Singapore, Oman, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam and etc in the past three years.
